Elevated Chef comes to our Elevated Winery

Ben Bound, Ex Sous-Chef at Vue de Monde, is presenting lunches at weekends at Hidden Creek Winery and at evenings at Seventh Vineyard.

Vue de Monde is Melbourne’s super prestige restaurant located on Level 55 of Rialto Towers on Collins Street – and the highest restaurant in Australia! Hidden Creek is located on Queensland’s Granite Belt region and has vineyards just under 1,000 metres altitude – making Hidden Creek one of the highest altitude wineries.

You can enjoy both lofty delights – the estate wines of Hidden Creek and Ben’s wonderful cooking by visiting the Cellar Door and café at Hidden Creek – located about 3 hours’ drive from Brisbane.

Ben advised “I’m offering some wonderful food options for lunch. I’ve found wonderful local produce, and we are coming into winter where the tastes will be hearty. I’m particularly interested in wine pairing”.

Hidden Creek Cellar Door Manager Niel Hamman explained that the cellar door and café at this time of the year has the wood burning fire going and lunches are wonderfully cosy. If a sunny day, the outside area by the lake is also popular.

Owner of Hidden Creek, Andrew Corrigan MW, is enthusiastic to marry up the award and trophy winning wines of Hidden Creek with the excellent cooking presented by Ben.
